11 Days of Action 2022!

October 11th, 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the celebration of the International Day of the Girl. We are using this day to celebrate achievements for girls over the past 10 years but also to hold ourselves and Member States accountable for the gaps that still remain.

In recognizing the 10th anniversary of the International Day of the Girl in 2022, we have decided to focus on the theme of “IDG+10: Minding the Girls’ Rights Gap–Active, Accountable Participants of IDG”. Each day the Working Group on Girls and our sponsors will be Honoring Girls Advocacy. Together we will promote the human rights of the girl child in all areas and stages of her life, advance the inclusion and status of girls, and assist girls in developing their full potential as women.
